** Dog Handlers – Professionally Experienced ONLY
**Front Desk/Customer Service/Retail Personnel
**Experienced Dog Bather/Groomer

 

EXPERIENCED DOG HANDLERS

Our dog handlers take care of the dogs from the moment they arrive until their departure. They interact and play with the dogs; monitor them at all times to ensure that they remain in the proper groups in order to play and exercise safely; oversee feeding and administration of medication; observe, document and communicate any issues or problems that need to be addressed with staff, management and pet owners.

Candidate Qualifications:
• MUST have professional experience in a kennel environment
• Must demonstrate sufficient dog handling skills
• Ability to take direction from management
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks proficiently
• Must be able to work in a vigorous physical manner, standing or walking 90% of the workday

• Work well under fast-paced conditions
• Must have common sense and good judgment

FRONT DESK / CUSTOMER SERVICE / RETAIL PERSONNEL 
Our customer service representatives check dogs in and out, handle customer inquiries about all of our services, answer phones, process cash sales, and provide knowledge about retail products.

Candidate Qualifications:
• Outstanding customer service skills (1 year experience required)
• Experience in the pet industry required
• Must be comfortable with dogs
• Retail computer, requiring basic math skills and cashier abilities
• Ability to multitask: Candidate will answer phone inquiries, process clients, ring      up retail sales, and demonstrate knowledge of products and services
• Clerical experience in filing, faxing, and other office duties
• Reliable and flexible with work hours
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Kennel Connection software preferred

EXPERIENCED DOG BATHER / GROOMER
Our dog bathers/groomers are skilled in bathing, de-matting, brushing out, hand blow-drying and moisturizing the coat, cleaning ears, brushing teeth, cutting nails and expressing anal glands. They observe, document and communicate any questions or concerns that need to be addressed with the staff, management and pet owners.

Candidate Qualifications:
• Must have at least 1 year professional experience bathing and/or grooming  dogs
• Must demonstrate sufficient dog handling skills (training provided)
• Ability to take direction from management
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks proficiently
• Must be able to work in a vigorous physical manner, standing or walking 90% of the workday
